It’s been a long while since I last do my videos. I have never stop taking videos though I have stopped posting videos. But that’s gonna be temporary. Haha. I still love to share my videos here but hate the time to upload them.
It had been a pretty good break for me from school and work. I spent the last month of the 2008 freeing my mind from the mundane matters that I was cooped in as well as taking time out to spend with my loved ones. It feels like I had done a lot of things and I couldn’t believe that everything had happened just within a mere month. There were many thoughts and feelings that I had and I wish I could write about them or express them in some forms. Perhaps I shall make short films about them someday.
A new year brings about new dreams and hopes and ideas, but the key is to make them happen in reality. I read this quote somewhere. ”If you can dream it, you can do it.” - Walt Disney.
I have always love the idea of creation. It just brings about new possibilities. Perhaps that’s why I love personalizing my things. It gives me a sense of ownership. To me, nothing beats the possessing something that is created by you. It’s just like why all parents love their babies. I wonder if that was an apt example. Haha.
Here is another snippet from behind the scenes of “8minutes” film making. We were waiting for taxis but there were none and we were getting bored. Farhan and ernie decided to do a Star Wars thing (or maybe it looked more like a version from the chinese opera?) with the pole for the boom. Haha. It was really hilarious as ernie and i were laughing like crazy. OH YES! BEWARE OF MY LOUD LAUGHTER. Sorry for the technical glitch, i couldn’t help it!
This was taken just last Tuesday with the use of my Nokia N93i! Wahahaha! We wanted to get our stuff where we placed them in the container the night before. However, the door was locked and nobody else was around at that time to open it for us. Then we noticed that the window was not locked! Farhan had this bright idea of climbing in while i had this brighter idea of taking a video of the act! Wahaha! It was fun and funny! right, farhan?!! Wahaha.
I was looking through the video that was taken at jennifer’s barbeque party and i chanced upon this part which i thought was funny! Haha! I like her friends’ responses. I think she dyed her hair red before she entered secondary school. Gosh that’s scary. Haha. I didn’t ask her if i could post this. oops! Wahaha!
I was showing my 12-year-old cousin the wonders of my iMovie. She found it pretty interesting soon after and so i made her do some acting. But i caught her laughing secretly. So funny! We played around with the sound effects and TADAH! here is our short video! I was actually very tired when i got home from work today but doing this lame video lifted my spirits! WAHAHA
I haven’t been creating short videos and uploading them onto YouTube as I am pretty packed with editing videos from several events to be burned as DVDs. I also realized that creating my own self-made DVDs is really great and it brings lots of fun!!! I can create different chapters, submenus, buttons, images and add my own edited audio track to the DVD menu. Besides, iDVD is pretty simple to use and so a nice DVD can be created very easily! It would be great if 1) there were more themes for DVD menus for me to choose from, 2) encoding of the videos would take a shorter time! yeah, encoding the videos can be quite a pain. it would be cool if i could design my own DVD menu someday! woohooo~ Anyways, Apple rocks my world.
this is done using iStop Motion. perhaps i shall edit this video again. haha. iStop motion is pretty fun~~ and i love my new watch too. thank you chucky dummy doll.
